Brooklyn solitude

Photos taken with my old camera "Seagull" (chinese Rolleiflex rip-off, but still amazing quality).
Quite hard to frame the picture at first, but it is funny, when I use it, I feel like in a totally different time.

Come on, she said ...

Third day in NYC, and here comes the bad weather. A bit annoying first, but I was finally glad I saw this city under the rain.
It didnt last long tho, just one day.

Here is a selection of some pictures of people in the streets.

Errance

Inspired by the book from Raymond Depardon : Errance

Queens

I admit I don't have all the credits for the second picture ( the hand holding a cigarette ).
While I was shooting it, I thought about François Constant 's work.
;-)

People of New-York - 1

I shot pictures of several people in the street. I guess their style was so refreshing , from Nuremberg people, that I needed to capture that, somehow.

Secret treasure

I have been quite charmed to see those covered cars while I was hanging out in the streets of NY.
Just by the silhouettes, you can tell that some kind of beautiful american-cars were hiding underneath.

Shadows playground

I can't believe how much I have missed the shadows on the ground. It's like I have been away from sun too much those past few months in Germany.

Light is there

I'm missing this incredible weather.

Shots in Brooklyn.

Somewhere in the Upper East Side

A close-up look inside the flat we have been living in the past few days.

One week one love

I have been rocking New York city with those shoes for one week. The best choice I made so far, since I was hesitating with my pair of Flyknit racer, which would have destroyed my ankle, with no doubts.

NYC

Off to NYC this week with my Canon550D&30mm / CanonAE1&28mm / Seagull 60x60

I might come back with some photos.
